Wow, MLJ that's great news!!

There is a small chance mine was on the same boat as yours...

   Things seem to be speeding up, just had a call from dealer to tell me that car is now at a UK port ( although not sure which one) and they are aiming for May 29th or 30th to hand over to me, seem such a long time since Febraury 25th when I ordered it

Since you are in Scotland your car will have most likely arrived in Newcastle. From my experience Newcastle clears the cars pretty quickly .

Had a call today from the dealer to say my Elegance twin door (build week 20) is in the UK! Looking like I'll be able to take delivery next week! Impressed as I was initially quoted early July

Looks like 29th or 30th is now out the window, car still not arrived with dealer

The new facelift has a turnaround of 4 to 6weeks from order.

Deposit paid on March 29th, build date expected week 24 (June 10th), a little more than 6 weeks I think. Although I'm hopeful to get delivery end of June start of July

I suppose the joys of living 40miles from Mlada Boleslav where they are built. :-)

My new company car superb wagon 2.0 TDI se was ordered second week in Feb just had confirmation

From vag leasing that it is being delivered 17th of June . hope its as good as my vrs estate.

Phone call from dealer today- car came in yesterday - has been PDI'd and available for collection tomorrow! Can't wait!!

That's great news Pauldubs. I see you ordered in Early April, that's a quick turnaround.

Just out of curiosity, who was the dealer and when was the actual build complete date? Interesting to see how quickly it has reached you from the factory.

I ordered beginning of March, build completion 21st May (unconfirmed), as for collection - not heard yet. Dealer - Underwoods Colchester

Wonder if it would be worth collating all this information to see where/if there are any bottlenecks.

Dealer is Allams Epsom not my nearest dealer but the local one wasn't at all keen to PX my Mazda 6 Ts2 60 plate with 15000 on the clock. Allams were and offered a fair price so they got the sale. I've been very impressed with them.

sorry I don't know the build completion date but I' ll ask tomorrow when I collect it.

Just heard today from dealer that my superb will be delivered to them on Tuesday, they will fit towbar and do PDI, car will be ready for collection 5pm Wednesday.

Originally orderd 25th February, slight delay over colour change after shark blue problem, also a few days delay in delivering to dealer after Skoda uk customer services admitted an error in delivery schedules.

I was quoted as delivery end May, so if all goes as planned from now it will only be a few days late

Just got the nod from the dealer, car ready late next week (7 June) or early the week after. Pretty much spot on 3 months

Had mine just over a week now, ordered on 28th February, same model as you are waiting for, an absolute dream to drive, gear change is as smooth as silk. hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.

Thanks Terry, you got a little more excited. Loving the thought of the DSG, only tested the manual (which was also a dream to drive)

Putting together a list of things to check over when I get the car. Anyone got any recommendations? What are the moat common features not to work on a new car, or is the Skoda PDI pretty thorough?

Just heard the other day that my superb should be here on Wednesday, as my tax ran out last friday, dealer has loaned me a Yeti 140 elegance DSG, unite nice to drive apart from the automatic, prefer a manual box anytime

The only thing wrong with mine on delivery was that the little thingy that is used to remove the wheel nut covers was missing.

Still sounds a bit dodgy though.
