Chrome pedal set

Featured Replies

Anyone fitted the above. If so how does the accelerator one fit. Is it a simple job.

It looks easy enough, you are supposed to use a special tool to release the pedal, but after scanning VW forums it can be done quite easily using a thin screwdriver. It looks like you need a Torx bit as well, but I am up for the challenge, and as mentioned in another post yesterday, I've ordered a set for my awaited L&K.

The following video gives you an idea how it's done..

car racing?

??

Obvious, to car race it's essential to have VRS pedals....... Sorry, I misunderstood - maybe it's an invite???

However, back on topic; I'm thinking of fitting these too so thanks Kenny R for the vid.

Thanks for the video. Left hand drive is slightly differnet I think, but at least I know what to look for. Cheers

Not fitted them, but have got them in my current vRS. Whilst they do look lovely if you look down at them, it is quite a big IF to be honest. Personally it's not something I really do so to be honest, I don't really see much point in having them at all myself.

I'm sure there are probably a lot more goodies at SuperSkoda that you could buy instead that you're actually more likely to see anyway.

Just my opinion.

Already bought everything else from them !!

Oooh what's good? I'm already browsing & loads I'd quite like from there myself tbh.

All depends on personal taste of course; but, I changed the badges (front and rear) got a pair of shiny seat adjuster inserts with "Yeti" in black, the little steering wheel shiny bit with a bigfoot on it, locking wheel nuts, rear bumper protector (the oem one), the sound deadening insulation for under bonnet (not fitted normally on petrol cars, over here anyway), oh and a leather key cover. Considering the new logo wheel centre caps and maybe the pedals as per this thread. Very pleased with the quality of the bits and the service/delivery from SS.

I fitted these to my yeti when I got the car, very easy to fit, accelerator pedal has a block connector on it and you have to twist and pull quite hard to unclip the accelerator pedal, once the torq screw is removed.....

It's the footrest I'm a bit worried about - removing the plastic floor trim to be precise - the rest look fairly simple to fit.

Oh please let it be ok for me to make a comment about the efficiency of (the) 'SS' :giggle:
