Hi all

I have to replace the brakes on my car and when trying to order the pads, the local supplier has asked if they have a spring in the middle or not.

Now without taking them off would anybody on here know so I don't have to take the pads off look at them put them back on go get the replacements etc.

My petrol vRS hasn't and I'd imagine the diesel would be the same. You should be able to see if it has anti-rattle shims or not?

My 06 1.9 d has them , just changed them 3 weeks ago.

My 58 plate has them fitted.
