Will these fit?

Featured Replies

Looking to get new alloys with tyres already on them.

At the moment Ive got standard 14" alloys on a silverline fabia with 185/60/14 tyres

and looking to get these alloys: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-Design-D90-s-5x130-5x100-8x16-Alloy-Wheels-VW-Golf-Audi-Vauxhall-Corsa-/230966373514?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Rims_Car_Wheels_ET&hash=item35c6ab2c8a

which have 205/55/16 tyres, I'm aware I will have to get adapters for the wheels but need to know if the tyres will be okay?

cheers, alex.

no, they won't. You'll need 205/45/16's. I tried 55's and they catch on the nearside rear wheel arch. 205/45/16 is the standard vRS size which I've been running since friday. Have to say the car feels more 'planted' and steering is slightly heavier, which I personally don't mind.

Ah okay cheers for that anyway.

You could run 195/45/16
