Changing from GreenLine II to 1.2 TSI

Featured Replies

Checked Sinclair and they have a few manual 1.2tsi but it's getting one with DSG that's very difficult.

You might have to cast your net a bit wider to get what you want. Im travelling 500 miles each way for mine.

What about this?http://www.skoda.net.r66.co.uk/carview.aspx?id=602924365

Might just be worth giving Sinclair's a ring as there is always the chance of an inter-dealership swap. They are very helpful there!

I have just had one of those interesting online chats that you see popping up on car websites these days.

Someone in a call centre somewhere at 10 pm on a Saturday night answering questions about availabilty

of Yetis with DSG at Sinclairs. Well let's see what transpires!

Good point Marie. I definately think I need to look further afield though maybe not 500 miles!,

1.2tsi is a cracking engine, just come from a 1.4tsi in the fabia vrs (180bhp) to the 1.2tsi (6 speed) in rhe Rapid and don't find it wanting - perhaps only pulling out at motorway speeds but then I was cocky with the vrs as I knew what it could do :)

Fuel consumption is very good but the Rapid isn't as badly shaped as the Yeti.

Parents have a 1.8tsi 4x4 Yeti and its very smooth. Would have the 1.4 but not manual option.

1.2 DSG here but only a S spec, mabe to far out for you

What spec are you after.

Probably a spec that will be impossible to find. SE or Elegance with a sunroof.
