Huge chunks of that article don't seem to make logical sense. Even the mention of KERS is "so what?"; battery electric (or even hybrid) doesn't make much sense without regenerative braking.

I wonder if you could get better performance by hooking up a 600cc motorbike engine. Doubt they'll try that.
