Hi All

Right the Vrs is gone and the time for the TDi is now!

The story starts with a long drive down south to J18 on the M6 from just outside Edinburgh,

I had the Vrs up for sale for 4 weeks with no one but time wasters phoning me and i was just about to giv up when a boy phoned me wanting a swap for the TDi, i was a bit hesitant but when he put a deposit in my paypall i was good to go.

A 3 hour drive later i was looking about the TDi and the deal was dun.

It cost £60 to get the vrs dow and £15 to get the TDi back!

So now Iv got a nice clean 1999 pre-face lift GLX TDi ( 90 BHP ).

The project starts with a good clean and wax, she came up realy nice.

All i realy want to do is fit Bora 4motion spliter, drop her by 40mm, whind defusers, tints, black grill and not much more outside, OEM+ all the way.

I will get to it and get some Update's up lol

Gave my TDi a reay good clean and dressed all the bumpstrips and fitted the black grill.

Going to Black my Grill too, once im passed a horrible work project that has me up and out at 5am.... not home in the work van - Transit Connect :think: - until 1830...

Thats not so good

Hope the wethers good but to be fair its a 2 min outdoor and a 90 min indoor ( if you have a garage lol )

update:

I got a VRs steering wheel from a boy at my work ( £30 ) and fitted it.

Got a small grill badge and fitted it.

shampooed the seats.

Will get pics up asap

Hi all not been on for some time now, sad news, sold the octy and now have a 172 exclusive,

Tbh I wasn't loving the tdi, I do love the 172 it's a brilliant wee car handles like a dream but I miss my vrs.

Thinking abut getting another one.................
