New Skoda vRs owner

Featured Replies

Just to say Hello, new to Skoda, new to diesels, new to DSG! So I have a lot to learn!

Last car had to go because of costs, Mazda 3 MPS Aero, 2.3l Turbo petrol, 260bhp was great, but 32mpg and £460 road tax was not!

So far enjoying the economy, I've got a run down to Duxford in July so I'll then see what mpg I can get. (typically 42mpg round town so far).

Thats the old Mazda, same parking place, at the bottom of Honister Pass

Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your vRS. No doubt you'll miss the 260 horses on occasion, but not the extra visits to the pumps you'd still be making if you kept it, not to mention the 4'free' tankfulls the cheaper VED gives you which will be circa 2k miles (providing you don't hoon it everywhere).

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hi every one I'm new to this, got myself a octavia a few months ago and love it just fitted a dump valve on it sounds ok but not that loud will putting a good air filter and chiping it sort this out?
