Oily finger prints

Featured Replies

Got oily fingerprints on my car bonnet from last MOT and I can not shift the bloody things using the normal Autoglym shampoo or a small bit of washing up liquid, any ideas?

I find WD40's good for tar, grease and so on.

All purpose cleaner

Give it a good clean in the area around it, then give it a little polish.

Oily hands from well, oil, but also childrens hands and moisturised hands can be a real pain as sometimes you wash it with a shampoo and you think they've gone, but they reappear in a few days. Polish them and there gone for good.

I use diluted TFR then shampoo in the past.

TFR?

TFR?

Traffic film remover. (GIYF :))

I'm sure you expected this.......

GIYF?

Of course :) That said, if it weren't for Google, the acronyms probably wouldn't exist because no one would ever understand anyone!

Lemon juice is good for removing grease too.
