Leon Cupra electric seat plastic runners - where can I buy some?

Featured Replies

So, I fitted my Leon Cupra seats a few months ago which are great, however the drivers side has always had some up and down movement which is proving very annoying. After further investigation today it appears the 2 plastic centre seat runners are missing :o

I have searched ebay for them, but no luck. Does anyone know if I can get these anywhere, or do the main stealers have them to buy separately?

Got a pic ?

Normally up and down due to worn wheels that run inside the runners or even broken is that what you mean ?

No pic yet, I thought it was down to the fact of these 2 plastic runner clips missing that`s causing the movement, now you`ve got me thinking this could be a worn wheel? Can these be bought separately?

Yes they can buddy

Thanks for that, I`ll nip over this week to order one.

if the seat is moving its probably the wheels as they when worn dont fill the runners in the car and cause movement

Just had another inspection, and I don`t think it is the outside wheels at the back, as the seat is moving at the front. I maybe wrong, but it really does look like it`s because of the missing 2 plastic guides in the centre?

Rang the SEAT dealer, and he`s said to call in tomorrow so he can have a butchers.

the wheels at the back hold the seat in place and allow it to slide backward and forward, the seat also mounts in a third point to the centre of the floor at the front, usually with 2 studs, and nuts though some seats require extra bolts to be used with nuts as they dont have studs.

which plastic guides do you mean?

pic?
