tiscali is good!

or............. if ur moving from another isp... try this!

Urm - if broadband crashes your computer, it's NOT gonna be wannadoo m8 ;)

You checked for virusses, spyware & the likes recently?

Also, are you using a USB-based ADSL modem, or do you have a router + network card? If you are using USB-based stuff, what is it, have you got the latest drivers?

Which OS?

Wannadoo itself cannot crash your PC. It could be that software installed by Wannadoo has caused problems, but then I must admit I never, ever use the installer CD unless I have no other way of getting it to work.

I agress, the problem is likely to be pc based.

2GB capped per month is a waste with broadband, I would try to find a provider offering unlimited bandwidth. I have a 2MB NTL connection, and download around 1GB per day, so thats your whole months allowance in 2 days for me. I use mine connection for streaming music/video and also downloading mp3 files.

Shouldnt have trouble with most business-related broadband. It's why I got Zen with block of 8 IPs for one ADSL line, in addition to my Pipex with static IP and my NTL 2Mbit (soon to be 3Mbit, apparently, and FINALLY with 384kbit/sec upload WOOT).

Not ever had warnings regarding usage - and I've been over the 1GB/day regularly in periods where I do shifting around of large files for work purposes.

I've always taken offence in certain NTL staff or sites claiming 'no legal use could possibly exist for using that much bandwidth, so you are a P2P thief therefore' which really got to me in the end so I left certain sites behind for that reason.

Do a bit of streaming, some newsgrouping, download patches and ISOs for Linux, and you'll be straight over the limit

if you can have ntl the new offer is 1mb 9.99 for

Or PlusNet - from 14.99 for upto 2Mb depending what your line supports - uncapped as well, although at this price priority is given to browser and email traffic rather than peer 2 peer.

Click on my Sig :)

I'm paying 21.99 (minus a bit for referrals) for 2Mb uncapped with them :D No complaints at all and had no problems at all in the 2 1/2 years I've been with them!

Chris

I have Wanadoo, but it says it's capped but I'm not on that for some odd reason. So I get uncapped 512 access for

Ive been using e7even.com for the past couple of months. No problems so far. Can get 1meg broadband for

telewest blueyonder 14.99 a month 512 unlimited

Depends really what your looking for.

best place to stat would be www.adslguide.org.uk they have ooodles of info on all isp's They also have rate and compare sections so you can check out everyone that has been mentioned here and compare them against each other.

Personally I chose to go with Nildram when I had ADSL and they were fantastic. Customer service was brilliant and they were always very quick.

Unfotunately I had to go the cable route in my new house so had to leave them.

Anyways check out the site and you should find enough info to make your mind up.
