Hello ladies and gents.

As the sun has finally come out in sunny Aberdeen, I have been using the sunroof in my combi increasingly.

I have noticed on several occasions that when I go to close it, there is usually a screeching noise at some point.

I plan to clean around the area and remove some dirt that has gathered and purchase some grease or such like. My question: can someone recommend an automotive grease for the sunroof running gear?

Vw group has some special grease for such occasions. Krytox can be bought at your local skoda dealer.

I'd also advise ensuring they grease it during the services because they are supposed to do this if the car has the panoramic roof fitted.
