I've no other keys with fob sadly...

Further update and probably best to hang fire with the ecu for now (I think!)

By all acounts the loom from the ecu runs down and under the battery and is a common'ish fail

My neighbour buddy will get the wiring diagram on Monday and weather permitting will start looking for the problem that evening...

Fingers and everything else crossed, I will update next week and thanks for the replies, much appreciated

Hi. My EPC and EML lights do not come on when I turn on the ignition so if you find out why yours doesn't could you let me know ? Might help me sort mine.

Thanks/regards.

Have you checked the earth wires under the battery?

No. But I will. Thanks. (Is that suggestion for me or red devil or both ?)

The loom from one side of the ecu passes under the battery tray and that is where my neighbour thinks the issue is, either the earth or within the loom itself...

All going to plan he'll have a look tomorrow evening and I'll update hopefully with a smile back on my face!

Took longer than expected due to workload (not mine lol) but its fixed and up and running again...

Nipped wire next to the ecu was corroded, tapping into the harness for the lpg many moons ago likely to be the start of the issue

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions and parts to try, I hope I can return the favour one day

Happy days
