Nissan Skyline R34 GTT

Featured Replies

Thought I'd put a bit of info up on my weekend car

Its a 1998 R34 GTT, tiptronic , I fancied another auto since my daily is the Fabia VRS and wanted another Skyline after having a R33 GTST some years back

For those that dont know the GTT is a 2.5l DOHC turbocharged engine in the R34 its the RB25det NEO , basically a development of the same engine found in the R33 gtst. The GTT is rwd as opposed to the 4wd RB26 engined GTR

Standard I think these cars produce about 286hp its often quoted as 280hp like all cars from this era since there was an agreement amongst the manufactures not to exceed this figure but they all did :)

Engine mods its not had much a HKS panel filter , downpipe, decat and Nismo exhaust is about it so power is around 300hp

It was well specced from the factory with a NISMO bodykit , tinted glass , option ICE and rare sunroof , its also had tien springs fitted and the Rota GTR wheels

I bought it in October last year and it needed a fair bit of TLC and work for the mot

As it was

First job was to give it a service and attend to the horrific ride

We changed the complete lower arms , the track rod ends and the drop links

Also bought a set of adjustable camber arms for the rear

Just cleaned this up a little. Whats said is said, back on thread now.

Lovely, I really like the grey/silver. Something about this generation of cars, not just nissan, they look, grrr. If that makes sense?
