my dpf innards are in a garage bin somewhere.

nose to tail home and peeing it down, so couldn't put my foot down, but iinitially car feels much happier. no lumpy 3rd and high gears slow speeds seem much smoother. seems a bit torquier in 5th and 6th too.

can hear turbo louder, but can also hear the dpf part of the box breathing better if I listen at the exhaust. a definate change in sound, slightly asthmatic wheeze at idle where everything is not restricted now.

decided against a remap. 123000 miles rising 150 per day. egr clean on weekend and wynns turbo cleaner (cannot figure out how to mr muscle my version of turbo) and she'll be running even sweeter.

happy so far :D

Nice one.

Where from and how much?

My DPF is on its last legs. I too have a 165 mile daily commute so it's still clinging on :giggle:

yeah, the only thing that held it on I think was the 120 miles motorway part of my journey per day at 80. constant regen.

live in somerset, but work in barry so got it done there. ab service centre. £200 plus vat. couldn't fault them and they keep a tidy garage which I liked.
