An impressive conversion - but so is the price!

I agree. A brilliant conversion.

As for the price, there is a hell of a lot of thought and custom made parts that go into these cars.

If you consider the time taken to develop these and add their attention to detail, then I reckon it's value for money.

An electric wheelchair is very heavy and even an able bodied person would struggle to lift it in and out of the car.

hoists are an option but take time to load and unload. not good if its chucking down with rain! And you would need to have someone with you all the time.

For a wheelchair user, independence is everything.

This car allows them to get out on their own with convenience and minimum of effort.

Good on 'em :)

As above, brilliant conversion.

I don't think it would be very good offroad though.

A TapaTalk enabled phone was used to write this...

I was in the dealer on Saturday and pointed them to this.

They were amazed and very impressed.

Pretty good conversion! But I expect a LOT of body flex too since the floorpan is now really U shaped with a dropped floor in the inside of the U. Acceleration will also be very leisurely I suspect with all that added weight. But a brilliant conversion for someone that needs this.

They claim the weight is less than the standard vehicle. I didn't think the seats were that heavy.
