Removing the Plastic Trim Pieces in the Boot

Featured Replies

Am thinking about adding some noisekiller sound deadening. How do you remove the plastic trim pieces in the boot which fit over the wheel arches? I think this is where most of the road noise is coming from but I am just cautious of removing these pieces if the fittings which hold them in place are likely to break off. Any advice welcomed. Thanks.

Sorry for reviving an old topic, but I think I'll do the same operation myself.

So, there are a few things that you have to remove prior to removing that piece of boot trim you want.

Here's the guide I made for myself, and hopefully I won't screw up anything. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9bc5FrmuwbAYTA4Q3gzeUpISms/view
