Looking good.What a shine :)

Can't beat black for shine.

I hope it wasnt waxed blackfire hates anything ontop of it or under it.

Looks great though.

+1

Never add sealer after wax

Looks good though

You say, 'Valet'...May I ask how much you paid please?

It wasnt the sealer after wax i was getting at, when running my own detailing business i used Blackfire a lot, to bond properly Blackfire needs the the Gloss enhancing polish as a base then the sealant and if you wanted the Blackfire Midnight sun wax to finish which is the only wax suitable for the sealant part.

Yeh, very clean and nice car.

But why have you waited until now with your cleaning?

I paid £70 that's the inside all clean as well.

I had no choice to wait until now the guy is fully booked until July plus this car has been in the garage with emission faults so in waited until that was sorted first.

Did he Machine Polish the car too?

  • Author

I honestly have no idea. It was polished. By hand or machine I'm not sure. Should it be machined?

Depends on the evident swirls and light scratches

Hand removal would have been very hard work!

Even Machine polishing takes several hours

Can you see any scratches using a strong light or sunlight?

Blackfire GEP has very few if no abrasives..basically just a cleaner polish...a good base for Blackfire sealers/wax.. but will not remove scratches and swirls

I couldn't see any swirls to be honest. Ill have a closer look when I'm out.

He had the car for 4+ hours. Ill take more photos today as its sunny and dry

Can't beat black for shine.

Until you drive it down the road....dust magnet :)

Looking very clean. Considered detailing the car by yourself? It's very rewarding.

I don't have the patients to do it myself. Wish I did as I'd love to say I did that.

Having it just detailed. Has he told you how to maintain it now? Or does he wash the car too?

  • Author

He does everything for me. From now until the snow comes it will be washed once every two weeks
