Anyone know is SKF top mounts any good, and do they also contain both mount and bearing ?

Alternative is £80 quid worth!

Which I'm not against by the way, if its worth spending on, but if the aftermarket is just as good then paying 2x for the same thing ain't my bag (baby)

There's a fair chance that the OEM top mounts are made by SKF anyway.

use the part number and call TPS, may get it even cheaper.

Ah *******s I just ordered via Bickerton anyway, I think I will make my life easier for the sake of <£30

Lots of shady non-businesses selling gear on ebay (i.e. unit numbers, not established supplier brands/names), at least I know these are original and not made of chocolate

TPS are £5 cheaper but DON'T deliver....

same where i live, TPS is cheaper but by time travelling and cost of fuel, bickerton just charge a couple of quid for delivery and you get it in a couple of days.

Which ones did you get in the end?

In the end i went for the Skoda genuine parts. I've never dealt with any other suppliers and the ebay is crap (loads of nobody sellers on there), I could have used vwspares but its still not an entity Im familiar or comfortable with

Plus I underestimated the cost once you total it up from elsewhere it doesnt work out that much cheaper

Have to say that they did make an ordering error and only sent me one part of the pair by mistake. But this was swiftly corrected and shows that good customer service is another benefit of paying full dollar (plus better guarantee if the part goes wrong I am sure)
