    Thanks, already have the new motor but it's not VAG this time........ :(

    I will post up some information once I have had a chance to do a 'New Car Detail' on it.......... :)

    Actually, technically its double posting as there shouldn't be another post apart from the one in the classifieds section, but perhaps if this topic steers more on what is good to replace the superb, it won't be removed. ;)

    Chris is referring to me posting a Detail Thread and it not being removed in other areas........;)

    I know, and I was referring to a duplication of sale threads. Maybe some chat about its imminent replacement would be worthwhile. :thumbup:

    One of the reasons I don't post up much on this forum anymore to be honest, if you want to take this thread down then go for it.........

    I am sure there will be a few 'old school' members in here that will want to know how well the Superb has lasted, etc......

    Shame we don't see you posting so much on Briskoda; certainly miss your detailing threads and useful advise.

    But that's how the powers at be want to run the show; so i still catch up via DW, Dooka and Facebook.... i just dont login here so much! :giggle:

    Thanks for the kind words and I appreciate you still find it interesting, sorry I can't post on here and sounds like there are a few of us 'old school' member's that have stopped posting for various reason..........:(

    There's more and more people retiring these now. I have to move to the US in 12-18 months and mine too will be up for sale. Will be sad to see it go. It's in fantastic condition, drives well and is cheap to run. The remap has given it a bit of grunt, and the suspension tweaks means it's pretty stable carrying speed through the bends ..... and it's worth so little compared to anything else on the market. Pffffft, it's criminal. :bandit:

    I have a feeling I'll not be advertising my car as such, more interviewing prospective owners to see if they're suitable to look after her. :love:

    It is indeed German but not VAG I am afraid, my job has influenced the new motor :)
