Turbo Actuator Replacement 1.9 tdi

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how easy it is to replace the turbo actuator while the turbo is still in situ? Mine was sticking but is now ok after spraying it with lube. But I imagine it's just a matter of time before the lube dries out and it starts sticking again.

Access looks difficult so I'd appreciate advice from anyone who's been there, done that.

Thanks,

David.

Yes, definately actuator, I did the mr muscle clean but it still felt sticky afterwards. I then sprayed lube on the actuator and after 30 seconds of jiggling it became really smooth and easy. The car is running much better now but I doubt if it will last!
