Finally completed the mods for my superb. I'm happy with it.

Mods are:

2011 Skoda Superb Wagon 125TDI Elegance. Koni FSD, 30mm lowered Eibach springs, 18" Riva AVS with Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Premium tyres.

Suspension from Larkespeed and wheels from wheelbase and shipped to Australia.

I've always wondered about the Koni FSDs;

How is the car now on poor road surfaces?

What about when loaded-up?

Any problems fitting them?

Does it feel more refined?

Any downsides to the FSDs?

The suspension has dramatically improved the handling of the car. In comers and touring you would like that you were driving a much smaller car. Sure the ride is firmer but by no means is it harsh. Koni FSD is the standard equines for some E and S class Mercedes so it is quality.

The thing I didn't like about the standard setup was the ugly ride height and body roll while cornering. It was like a floating boat, now a true touring car feel. On poor road surfaces I'm cautious however have not had any issues.

The fitment was easy as I had them professionally installed by Michael Molnar - Canberra VW centre Tuggernong ACT AUSTRALIA, he actually commented about how nice the combo of Koni and eibach was and how well it went together. I have installation pics also if you want me to upload.

The wheels only went on today and haven't done any driving on them yet. I resisted 19's in fear of harsh ride so guessing the 18's will be little or no different from the standard 17''s
