If anyone is interested the 2005 Cannoanball run Europe starts on 3rd of July from the Towers, Horsley Conference centre Between Guildford & Leatherhead

I will be representing Skoda on the event but I guess there will be a few more interesting exotics at the start to view.

Not sure of the start time but registration ends at one so I guess it will be a couple of hours after that.

Ockham Road South, East Horsley, Surrey KT24 6DU

By Car

>From London/M25, take the A3 southbound, or leave the M25 at Junction 10 and take the A3 south towards Guildford. Leave the A3 at the junction after the M25 exit, signposted to Ockham and Ripley. Following the signs to "Horsley Towers", take the B2039 to Ockham and East Horsley. Stay on this road, passing under a railway bridge, and continue for one and a half miles after Horsley railway station. Entrance is on the left, just after the second parade of shops.

>From the South, take the A3 heading north. Exit at the junction after Guildford, signposted to Ripley, Woking and Dorking. At the first roundabout turn right towards Clandon and Dorking (A247). Continue through Clandon until you reach a set of traffic lights and turn left onto the A246. Continue on this road, going straight across a roundabout at West Horsley, until you come to a left turn with the Duke of Wellington Public House on the corner. Following the signs to "Horsley Towers", turn left into East Horsley and the entrance is 100 metres on the right, after the church.

If all goes to plan, I will be there.

Less than a week to go & I think the cars nearly ready, just the a 4 wheel alignment check needed, the stickers to go on & the Red Bull to be purchased.

By this time next week we should have covered more than a thousand miles if previous years are anything to go by

A Book of Maps, No Idea where we are going & getting sat Nav to cover all of Europe would be a costly exercise I guess, Weve always managed with maps before although Im going with a Mate rather than Wendy this year & she's a fantastic navigator so time will tell .

There is now less than 12 days to the start of the adrenaline pumped and now legendary Cannonball Run Europe. The 2005 summer event will see 65 super cars leave Horsley towers, East Horsley, Surrey, KT24 6DU from 2pm at 1-minute intervals. They will embark on a 2500-mile, high octane, high-speed event that will see them pass through 7 European countries, driving by day and partying hard each night!

We would be delighted if you would join us at the start line at Horsley Towers from 11.30am on Sunday the 3rd of July.

Here are just some of the exotic vehicles that will be firing up at the start line; GT Bentley, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 360, Ferrari 355, Porsche GT2, Aston Martin DB9, Nissan Skyline R34, The Vanishing point 700 BHP Supra, Mitsubishi EVO 340 FQ, Mercedes 500SL and many more.

Probably around 1 or so. Last year we were well early and got pretty bored waiting for the start to happen, so this year we'll arrive a bit later.

Saw a new M5 the other day put a rather chaved-up 318i in it's place

If you bring them Sunday be discreet, People pay the organisers for us to carry stickers so some might be anoyed at freebies going on
