I know us expectant Octy III'ers are all getting excited, some would prob say sad, lol, but this and Pete T's post top trumps anything I've seen yet, tracking the delivery ship, priceless! I bet you've also got a web site up your sleeve to track the road transport too!

Nothing wrong with tracking the ship! I recently tracked my wife's VW which was built in Mexico, couldnt get any details from VW other than the date it was released from the factory in Mexico, so a couple of hours on the net, found the company that ships for VW, found the list of ships they operated, found teh ones that operated the correct route, then found one leaving a few days after the release date, and bingo, tracked it to Emden, then found the ship that it came to the UK on, speaking with VW they didnt have a clue what ship it was on, I knew when it had arrived in the UK before they did!!!!!

Yes it was a pointless exercise but it was a bit of fun doing some detective work!!! And made waiting for the new car slightly less painful! Also used it with my little girl to teach her some geography with her globe in the bedroom tracking where in the world teh ship was daily!

This assumes that our cars are on board of course!!

They're the 2 ships I tracked, the Weser Highway is on it's way back to Emden, The Neckar Highway still in Grimsby.

Hopefully our cars were onboard one of them, & are now at Grimsby docks, but they may still be at Emden!!

They have both now sailed. Might get an email from my dealer this week - it's around the time he estimated from his last update. Bets are on for driving away in my first Skoda 7 - 8th June!

Nice of them to go back just to collect my car - there's Skoda service for you!

I hope your cars all arrive safe and sound, going to check mine over tomorrow at the dealer when I call in to sign the finance and pay the balance, pick up on Sat! :sun:

If a car was built in week 21, do you think they would now be headed here on one of those ships!?

Check with your dealer for an update, if it's status is "Cleared by the port", it should be on a ship quite quickly, I would have thought!!

Mine was on one of those ships!! I was told it's in the UK this morning (Vindis were shut Sun & Bank hol Mon), & asked to pop into dealership!!

It is arriving at the dealers tomorrow!! Just signed more paperwork, & paid remainder of deposit, picking it up Friday afternoon!!

I wait with baited breath......

My car is being built next week :(. Either I misheard the dealer or he gave me the wrong week, I really hope I get it before the 26th!

Saw my car arrive on transporter today!! Dealership is across the road from our bus depot!!
