hi all i haven't been on line since buying the car 2009 it's been very reliable. I have the 2008 Octavia scout. Now with 69,00 miles. Just recently both the electrical mechanical power steering light and the tcs lights come on, mostly when turning quickly to avoid say a pothole. The lights stay on until I pull over to rest and turn the ignition off. After a wait of about 5 minutes all is well. I have checked the fluid level which is ok. The tcs is lit up yellow. I have noticed a slight difference in the weight of the power steering until the lights go out. Has anyone had this problem? Please help mike

sounds like you need a new steering rack, common thing on Octy's later in life.
