Looking to get a Brodit mount for my phone and quite like the location of the one you can get for the Roomster.

They don't sell it for the Fabia, but I thought they had the same interior? Tried e-mailing Brodit but they ignored me.

Hi, yes it should be the same have this one fitted in my fabia had it for last 5 years or so. Is well made and looks good will try and remember to take a picture tomorrow. David

I concur they are the same. Which mount are you looking to get??

I tried an A pillar one but couldn't get on with it

The Brodit one that fits next to the stereo, was tempted by the windscreen one too.

The a pillar mount will probably distract you more but indeed it is easier to access and view. At the end I decided to go for the mount version that sits next to the stereo but because the Brodit cradles are very, very expensive I attached a cheap one that until now works fine. The Roomster radio surround and center pillar are identical to the Fabia so you will not have any issues.

Best position for phone depends what apps you want to run whilst driving. If using as a DVR then the camera will need line of site to what is in front of you. If using as a satnav then you having line of site of the phone whilst not blocking your view of what is ahead is best.

Brodit mount ordered and on its way, also didn't fancy having the iphone cable dangle across the car to the A pillar.
