rear wiper arm

Featured Replies

My rear wiper won't work fuses are fine, is there anything else I can look at or fix?

You can tease it took move but doesn't move much maybe an inch.

Failing that can I just replace with a second hand one from scrappy?

Thanks

Probably the actual motor, had it happen on 3 previous cars.

Good luck trying to remove your rear wiper if its stuck anything like mine.

If it is your motor that's gone and you can't find one from your local scrappys, then try Sko-Spares.com. That's where I got mine from.

Can I not get access to it by removing the plastic cover on the inside of the boot?

Thanks

Yes you can, that's how you get acces to the motor. If your removing it though you then the rear wiper will need to come off :)

it has been known for a wire to rub through on the plug that goes in to the motor .... pull the trim off and check before ordering

Little wiper popper tool will get the wiper off in seconds if its seized on.

Didn't work on mine, the wiper motor spindle started breaking before it was budging!
