After owning the car for 2 years I have decided I would create my own project journal. Haven't done a million things but thought I would post it anyway :)

This was the car when I bought it standard. I was adamant I was going to leave it standard and just use it to get from a-b. That didn't last very long when I was the alloys were bubbling on the rim and leaking air slowly, so a refurb was needed.

After a few months I got used to the car and decided a wanted a bit more power so I started to look around at remaps and decided to travel to Wolverhampton to see Will @ Performance Torque and boy am I glad I did.

The transformation was unreal the car now feels completely different.

Not long after I hit a pothole and snapped the coil spring on the front passenger side and after having it replaced never felt the same so decided to buy some coilovers and try to fit them myself.

This was the easy bit and then the front gave me a nightmare of a few hours leading through the night but was worth it as the next day I had this.

A few months later and a few mm off my tyres later I decided instead of buying new tyres I would get some new wheels and found these online for £200 so took a punt and drove to get them.

But I didn't realise stupidly that the tyre size was too bit and when I fitted then the first time they rubbed on the arches. so had to spend more money on new tyres and hey presto.

Just looked at your RR figures;

Bizarrely the 'before' figure is identical to mine!

Before it went on, the guy said "this will make 150 as standard, they all do".

And I thought it was certain Jap manufacturers that downplayed bhp figures!

got my new fog lights and KKL cable in the post this morning. Disabled 2 stage unlocking and lightened my steering :)

Wouldn't let me enable autolocking though :(

Will be fitting the new fogs a bit later on. are they difficult to do?

Managed to get my bumper off to get the old fog lights out and decided to fit the splitter at the same time (not very well fitted).

And got my plate on it now :D

Havnt been on here for nearly a year now. Decided to change thinks up again going to refurb the wheels on Sunday weather permitting. Thinking of something a little different so going for orange :).

Thinking of getting a decat next but read about over boosting after the remap. Anyone experienced any problems like this?

Got the exhaust fitted last week by Prospeed exhaust in cardiff. Went for a straight through decat with no silencers in the end.

post-77110-14103752073657_thumb.jpg picked up some 20mm spacers off here for cheap a few days ago too. Sits just right on the wheel now just can't have a full car ATM as the coilovers are all the way down.

Then the day had finally come this mornin. And I made my way to Wolverhampton to p torque for the remap.

This is how I got on:
