Fabia 1.2 54bhp Slowwwwwww

Featured Replies

Hi Friends,

This is my first post on Briskoda, I like your

humor:D

The 1.2 12V motor is really nice to drive, but

you must know how to drive it, anyway, you

can not drive it the same way as a diesel.

The motor is very guiet, you almost can not hear it,

it is a pleasure to drive.

Below 2000 rpm/min it is asleep, wake it a bit and

it will run nice.

Make more fun about it, love it:D

Have Fun

Herman

Hello Herman, always nice to see another kaaskop joining the legions. I'm a cloggie myself, and so is Dutch4x4 (the name does give it away a bit ;)).

Skoda 1.2 classic is produced as it budget entry and the UK model IMHO is an exccellent buy at the proce - its a great car IMHO for new drivers who should get good priced insurance, running costs and at a price thats more afordable as new. I drove the lesser powered variant and found it fun and with a unique engine note, had no problem on motorways either - but would not be suited to hilly regions as this is where it low power rating is shown up. The higher powered 1.2 variant would probably be better suited to this sort of terain.

In CZ they have an even cheaper less speced Fabia aimed by the name at first entrants to motoring - some pis I took earlier this year in CZ. Notice the plastic unpainted bumpers and wheel trims:eek:
