Would any mk5 Golf GTI coilover fit a mk2 Oct vRS petrol? Even the estate?

Some will specify different axle weights etc Dave, but as I said to you, I'm running H&R twin tube coilovers from a mk5 Gti DSG with no issues whatsoever, H&R actually list the same part number for the Gti and Octavia vRS, some of the cheaper brands may be different though

Thanks Mark. That was my only concern about the different weight etc of the car especially as mines an estate... Will have to start properly searching when back off hols.

ditto the above, the bilstein b16's are the same kit for golf, leon, octavia etc. i know of one octavia estate that ran a kw v1 kit for a golf (where kw list separate kits for golf and octavia) and had no problems with that.
