Windscreen replacement

Featured Replies

No damage to windscreen just scratches and looks awful, who would be best replacers to go for ..? Auto glass ? Or are better ones , cost wise who are the cheapest

Thinking of doing the same with mine. In the sun all the road rash marks on it from 113,000miles make for a slightly impaired view out. I'll just get hold of the window replacer (Autoglass I think) on my insurance and pay the £75 windscreen excess. Did the same on my last car.

Did my last two through Auto glass, with no issues/problems. £60 excess in both cases ;)

Just remember you may have to declare a glass claim and it may put your insurance up.

The last one I replace on an octavia around 12 months ago i did through the main dealers.

The screen was around £160+vat then fitted by a local winscreen fitter for around £75.

It's getting to sumer and councils are out "surface dressing", so lots of stones are about to be "THROWN UP"
