hi i have a skoda 05 rag 2000cc fsi with auto wipers and lights in door mirrors

i just got a light switch with auto lights on it

how hard would it be to get auto lights working on my car and coming home lights too

i have no auto lights at mo

AFAIK you will need an extra wire to go between the switch and CCU then you will need VCDS to activate auto lights etc.

Currently you should only have 7 wires in the loom but there are 8 used by the new switch.

Its easy if you know how to lower the control unit under the dash. Its fiddly beyond belief if you haven't done it before.

Do you have a part number for the switch by any chance? Pretty please.
