I have some corrosion on my alloy wheels and it is on the edge of the centre "skoda" disc. Apart from one other point this is the only area that seems to be affected. I have done a search which did not enlighten me. It certainly is not stone chips which I accept would not be a claim issue. It is as if the centre disc has marked the lacquer on the wheel. The tyre are original so obviously this must have been done at the factory, anyway changing a wheel should not involve removing this disc.

The car is booked in for tomorrow I await the discussion.

I expect your wheels are fine - it's just the centre-cap badges that are rubbish. Common problem, I believe. Should be covered under warranty.

There is a some "milky/worm" on the centre badges but it is also on the alloys adjacent to the badges.

The centre badge is as the photograph but there is also corrosion on the alloys next to the centre badge.
