Featured Replies

hi ive recently had my car mapped along with other mods and it made over 320ftlb and although my clutch is fine now im still looking to replace it but dont want to go down the smf route is there a uprated clutch i can replace it with to handle what i have now that you guys own or have tried any help appreciated cheers

Hi Sean, thats a good figure. What was your BHP and what mods did you do to get that?

I think the clutch most recomend on here is the Sachs racing engineering ones.

Sachs make a uprated one to work with the stock DMF

2nd on the list there, Darkside is a good place to start. Also some of our site sponsors sell them.

Sorry i tell a lie it was 190 it made and yes stock turbo. thanks i will look into the sachs one is there any others that would be worth checking out

I didn't think stick turbo'd could run that much power? Or if it does it won't last very long lol

i dont no mate it was mapped by amd they seem to think it would be fine sub 200 any more 150/hybrid they seem to be a reputable tuner so i go by them

More like 170/175bhp

Just an over-reading rolling road and why not, makes amd look better as most love peak figures!

For a clutch on standard turbo id go sachs race engineering and new standard dual mass flywheel

i will try get some quotes for this clutch today cheers. yeah I have heard many rumours about AMD not having the most reliable dyne I need to get it done elsewhere for proof. Either way I'm still happy with what they have done pulls very well.

It wont be cheap!

Around £700!

Theres a few other clutches i've had a look at, you can get a cg organic one that goes with stock dmf

Also larkspeed seem to do an organic one too!

A lot cheaper than sachs but obviously inferior but should cope with a simple remap

Was 190 a RR Printout or an estimate? I'd be curious to see the graph :)
