About 9 this morning an old H plate banger merc estate went into the back of me, was at a give way and luckily there was nothing coming or i would have been ploughed into by another car, it was on a flat surface so luckily my foot wasn't on the brake so he shunted the superb forwards instead of ripping the bumper off, i put the hazards on and drove the car onto the pavement, got out as did the other man who was aged about 40 i would say, i asked him if he was okay and asked him for his details, he then started balling in my face saying that he wasn't giving me any of his details, i then took his reg and phone for the police since he wasn't complying with my self, he went and sat in his car and the police took 30 minutes to arrive, he gave them them his details and now i will go through insurance to fix the car, the damage is extremely minor, a little hole in the bumper, but he has cracked my taxi plate to will need to get a new one of them, oh the joys of driving

no, went into a local garage and got it on the ramps and looked underneath, cheked chassis legs suspension, exuaust system, floor pan, luckily everything is in order

i don't know weather to go through insurnace or not, i am phoning him today and if he hands over the £40 for a new plate i will be happy, if not it will go to insurance
