Yellow bulbs

Featured Replies

Yeah, lots of boy racer idiots have blue or pink fogs and mains.

Yellow is supposed to make things sharper hence why lots of shooting glasses are yellow. I'll be honest, I've never noticed and difference and I just want them to look different and a bit retro.

Which just means that you only see the yellower parts of the spectrum through them, which will make your pupils dilate due to less light hitting them compared with mine with no glasses.

If they were such a good idea, it would be on production cars today.

However, to avoid the form over function argument..........

If they were anything approaching a good idea, Rally and Le Mans cars would be fitted with them. And let's be honest, those guys would need them way more than normal road users. :)

I know what your saying rainbow but I just want them to make my car look retro and different, they'll hardly ever be on as its the fogs I'm doing not the headlights, it's the same as saying if carbon wrap grilles were so much better then all production cars would have them, people like to put their own stamp on things.

Might as well get some yellow Lamin-X instead, then they'll be yellow all the time......

......otherwise you'll only be making a fashion statement when it's foggy.

There were a handful of cars racing at Le Mans this year which did have yellow headlights!

(They were headlights, not identification lights).

Thought about it but might not like it yet so if I get the bulbs and like it then i'll wrap the fogs. ????
