Trevorb33's Hyundai coupe- Gone

Featured Replies

This is going to be a fixer upper for me, just picked her up
An 03 in black this is a gen3 Hyundai coupe 2.0, may not be to everyone's taste on here but I love briskoda too much to leave lol, I'll get some pics tommorrow but has full leather, cruise, air con, electric windows etc. so much car for the money.
Specs are not too shy either around just under 140bhp and 0-60 in 9 secs not gonna set the world alight but good enough

Done 117k but was too cheap to refuse,

Did a full service today just need leads and got the three (yes that right three auxillery belts) lol to change

One of the exhaust tips was rotten and fell off after vigorous cleaning, so looks like the modding will begin earlier then I thought :)

Just go, leave now.

;)

Always liked these - you taking the mods to the same level as the vRS?

He comes accross as ok, when he was on the old uk coupe forums, I thought some things he said were b/s if im honest.

Save your money and get direct:

http://www.sharkracing.com/acecart/bin/shop.cgi

http://www.kspec.com/

kspec is in usa/korea and shark are in korea.

Dont let that put you off, they are amazing to deal with. Plus most things are marked as zero cost or presents, so no import tax!

also check :

I've not looked at that forum for years but it used to be good.

Had both the rear brake lines replaced yesterday, and today did a full fluid change with some 5.1 dot brake fluid, new manual aerial base is on just awaiting a new aerial to fit into it now,

Just waiting for some good weather now so I can clean up the rest of the brake lines/ front and rear subframes and hammerite/waxoil it up. it's all surface rust but doesnt look pretty and is flaking off

Any idea how much all the aircon stuff weighs just out of interest

I'm gonna get some scales as I'm curious too,

  • Author

Got some weights of the air con bits removed

Rad 3kg

Compressor 6kg

Various bolts and brackets 1.29kg

Tensioner 1.74kg

Belt 0.12kg

Pipes 3.54kg

So total loss just air con of 15.69kg

Removed nearly a 1kg of old alarm wiring too lol every little helps,
