Has anyone had any experience of these on a vRS?

What is the grip like in the dry/wet and how much road noise is heard in the car, also how many miles did you get out of them?

I can get some brand new ones fitted for

they were good on the 172 didnt last long tho but non of them did on that thing

Cool thanks :)

I had a set on the Fabia, Xav has only just changed them and they werent new when I got them. Wear seems pretty good, bit noisy but they may have been the profile rather than the tyre itself.

How was the handling with them on Lummox?

Very good (but also running suspension mods of course).

I am running a similar setup bar the koni shocks and obviously only on the 16" Octavia alloys, but if it gets the  from you then i'll get some.

Cheers.

Koni shocks IMHO make a massive difference.

Having been in my old car around Brunters and a members car with Eibach shocks the difference was quite obvious more so in the back end which felt alot more stable.

I agree, my brother ran a renault sport clio 172 round elvington with just eibach's on last year and although the handling felt good when he fitted the koni's the difference when he ran again a few months later was incredible.

I will be upgrading when my OEM shocks purge (assuming they will because of extra force being exerted on them with aftermarket springs), but like Sarah at JBS told me - I might aswell get my money's worth from the OEM shocks first.
