205 GTI Speedlines - Genuine

Featured Replies

I know this isn't the best place to sell these, but you never know....

I'm now selling the Speedlines as I simply prefer the look of the OEM steels. They have all the stamps on the wheels and are the Italian version - not sure if this is better?

All the tyres have at least 5mm left, one being new with only 60 miles on it. One wheel was refurbed over the winter and all the others are okay. They aren't as mint as the refurbed one obviously, but they weren't really in need of anything doing - not perfect but okay.

I bought some genuine centre caps from Peugeot last month which set them off nicely and they'll come with all 16 bolts.

They need a clean before I can put pics up of them individually, but here's a couple of them on the car last week before they came off at the weekend.

The refurbed wheel is on the NSF, so it's better than the ones you can see. I'm not looking for a huge amount for these but I'd like the money to fund some S2 steels that are either mint or cheap and can be refurbed over the winter.

The tyres are 195 45 15 78W. The make is Runway Enduro-916. I've never been a fan of budget tyres to be honest, but these have been absolutely fine. They're not Toyo R888s, but I've been out on a few spirited drives and I've made it round corners and got home safely.

The refurb cost £60, the centre caps £35, the tyre £55 so If I said £200 including the centre caps and bolts, would that be a reasonable amount? Let me know if I'm a million miles off.

Cheers,

Andrew.

Tried the 205gtidrivers forum?

I'd thought of doing what you suggested. Trouble is I'd be a new member with zero feedback which looks a bit dodgy. The wheels are on a couple of 106 forums where I've got a bit more history. I'll look into what you have mentioned if they don't sell.

Cheers.

Big fan of these wheels i have a set of the early style ones sat in my garage to go on my 309gti

Yeah, that'd be good. I'll register later in the week and see how I go. If I need some backup then I'll give you a shout.

Cheers,

Andrew.

Just had a look on the For sale rules:

Do not post unless you are interested in the item for sale. Comments (positive or negative) are not allowed.

So probably cannot help then, Sorry

Surprised that the usual question hasn't been asked!

Will they fit a fabia? lol :p

If I said yes, would that get me into trouble?

I reckon that they'll go at some point but I haven't started my aggressive marketing campaign yet. Primetime ads on ITV1 should get them shifted, or a full page spread in a national newspaper might help. Or as people have suggetsed, maybe I should get them advertised on a 205 GTI forum.
