Can anyone tell me after a main dealer service how long does it take for the next variable service dates and mileage info to appear on the MDF "vehicle status" as after service it now just reads miles _ _ _ _ _ _ days _ _ _ _.

Dealer advises it takes about 500miles to show a reading based on the oil condition for the computer to work out the next service mileage and or days????

Is this correct, and how long have others had to wait for a reading to appear??

Not sure, perhaps a few days in my case but then again I don't tend to check that often.

Yup 500 miles or 10 days iirc.

It's your check the dealer hasn't tried a fast one and switched you to fixed intervals as most are doing lately
