There was a thread on this topic a few days ago but am now unable to find it.Has it been deleted or moved? What I am interested is the link to French fuel prices which I recall was enclosed. It's normally difficult to get more than an occasional update on such matters.

Maybe not what you're after, but I can tell you what I paid when I drove to France recently via Eurotunnel. Filling up at Carrefour supermarket right next to the Shuttle terminal, standard diesel was €1.309/L. At motorway services, this rose to about €1.50/L. In Le Havre and Nantes, €1.30 was common. I didn't fill up at Shell, so no idea what premium diesel was.

Last December I paid €1.33/L in Nantes and then last May it was €1.34/L. On the whole it hasn't varied much (spot the loser with the fuel spreadsheet).

If you're after petrol prices for a car other than the one in your signature, I have no idea

I usually fill up at French supermarkets anyway. So great info. At 85p per € that is £1.28 max per litre.

And for some reason, my various cars over the years have all returned better comsumption figures abroard, particularly in France. So even better, more bangs for less bucks.

Drove through France the week before last, compared to the UK petrol works out about the same once converted back to GBP and diesel is a cheaper than petrol everywhere in France so obviously cheaper than the UK.

Currently in Spain and both Petrol and diesel are significantly cheaper than the UK and France which is just as well considering the amount of Petrol I am putting in the A8 at the moment.

Yeah it's pretty crap these days unfortunately - even Belgium isn't any better :(

Just back from Le-Mans 24hrs. Filled up at first station I came across, which was motorway services paid 1.45 euros / litre which, worked out at £1.22 / litre. Couple of days later I filled up again at a supermarket near Ruffec. 1.26 euros / litre, which works out at £1.07 / litre. When you consider that I averaged 55mpg, I was most pleased. Head for the supermarkets, its worth it.

The Danish were impressed with the wheelspins too!!

(If you've never been to the 24hr, you may not understand that last bit!!!!)

That's the one!

Note to self : Arrive early in order to save clutch and tyre rubber!!!!!!

It would help if you said if the prices were for petrol or diesel!

Just home after a boring two weeks cruising on almost empty autoroutes at 130kph. Diesel ,as per my signature, was between €1.33 in supermarkets and €1.44 on auto routes. Pity I only got 40mpg at those speeds fully laden with pushbikes on the back.
