I have just purchased an aftermarket stereo for my Octavia II vRS. I am aware that it will not fit perfectly into the dashboard, and have read various guides on how to remove the factory unit and install the new one, but I'm a little confused as to what I need in terms of a fascia kit.

i'd go to skoda and buy one from them.

Make sure you get the correct colour facia with it though.

Its more expensive from skoda but its a better fit.

You will also need to get some wiring adaptors. Choises of finding a switched live in the fuse box and running it to the ignition live on the headunit or buying one of these
