does anyone see a difference in the settings for illumination 1 & 2 on the bolero settings menu. I can't see any difference.

I think the only difference is that the volume knob and the other one light up with a green ring around them in one setting and don't light up in the other, or something like that. there is very little difference between the settings You may even have to have your lights on to see the difference,

I'm confused over the settings too.

Never have sussed out the difference.

I thought idea was to brighten or dim the screen.

According to the Bolero manual...

"Display -Adjust the brightness of the screen and select/deselect the confirmation tone for the keystroke."
