Right chaps, had car in for MOT this morning and it passed with flying colours! Chip on screen was too small to affect MOT.

So very pleased right now. Spent the whole afternoon cleaning and polishing it hehe

Really nice chap, also gave me a brand new OEM spoiler for it and a brand new OEM VRS exhaust

Will post pics soon

Well done.

I take it it has Insurance on it before you drove it for the MOT.

Now that it has passed is it offroad until it get Road Tax or have you managed to purchase that before going anyplace?

Yeah, I insured the car last night before I went to collect it. Yeah the car is now off the road because the guy selling it couldn't find the V5 which is a royal pain in the a**.

I'm now stuck in Wisbech at a relatives until his new v5 arrives. (I got the train to collect the car)

You may need a different rear bumper before the exhaust will fit.

vRS has a cutaway for the tailpipe. Still that's great news about the MOT.

Sometimes you've just got to have faith :)

That's a ruddy bargain mate.

Personally I think it will fly through it's MOT, it looks well cared for.

Yeah, there is no cut out for the exhaust tip. I was thinking about having it just rest underneath? Don't think it would look too bad.

Here are some pics after I spent my afternoon giving it a polish.

Not too shabby :)

I tried a few alloy wheel cleaners with no luck on 2 of the wheels getting off the brake dust. I read on another post that using oven cleaner will whip that stuff off in no time! Best not leave it on for too long!

Just cut bumper out thats only differance between standard octy bumper and vrs version

I think i will put it on without the cut out, see how it looks and then if I have to, cut the bumper.

Won't the vRS exhaust be too sure though to reach the bumper anyway?

^^^ Good point well made but pretty easy to cut and extend I suppose.

Yeah, should be simple enough, worth pointing out though.

It's only a single pipe too isn't it, which should make it easier/cheaper?
