Bowders,

Now that's a tidy engine bay! But there's something I can't quite see in the pics, have you also done the EVAP system delete as I couldn't see the carbon canister bit in your engine bay? And if you have, did you vent your fuel tank in a different way as the guide I went from had shown to just cap off the system, but ever since then the fuel system seems to build up really high pressure - noticed most when fuelling up and taking the cap off.

Never blank off you will be sitting on a bomb lol

It needs to be vented !!!

But how is this done, just as simple as taking a line from the capped off port and dropping it down under the wheel arch etc, or would you have this vented back into the inlet?

Lol - on reflection it goes to show how many ill written up guides there are out there on the net!

Go to the top of this thread and click on the link.

That link takes you to the diy threads I listed all relating to delete mods and stuff. You can then see evap and canister delete.

But yes I did vent as you need to.

Bad news if not.

I also have a one way valve to fit at some point to be able to vent and not pull back in gases.

Sent from my Samsung S3

Ah that's great thanks mate, I'll get that done once I'm back home, I've actually seen someone just leave it with nothing on, venting fuel vapour openly into the engine bay, I figured at least mine was a tad better than that! But that's what I was hoping for but was unsure if it was correct! Nice write ups, I wish I would have found those first!
