Failed to move from a 107....

Featured Replies

I tried to convince my mum into a Citigo instead of her endless 3 year cycle with Peugeot. I do like the 107, and to be fair nothing has ever gone wrong with one particularly (more Toyotas credit than Peugeot!) but she couldn't face changing the routine of the Peugeot Passport / Just add fuel offer even though I'm sure the Citigo could've been cheaper for her. Oh well I did try but she wouldn't even test drive.

Really feel for you mate. I'm usually fairly indifferent about most other makes of car but there's something about Peugeots I find really overblown. Is one marque I'd never own.

I managed to get my mother inlaw out of her 106 thank god. Fed up with patching that back together time after time.

I can't understand what's going on with the new breed of Peugeots, it's like the designers love the look of things that have been kicked in the face. Especially considering the fantastic looking cars that sister company Citroen have been turning out at the moment!

Rumours that Pug will go under in the next few years?

To be fair the facelift 107 looks better than the Citigo, and they're finally moving away from that awful basking shark front gape.

If Pug go there is a good chance they will take Citroen as they merged to share costs.

Didnt one of the french motor companies goto the french courts recently to be saved due to bad sales & very heavy losses.

I do like the look of the 208 GTi & at £5 short of 19k, virtually fully loaded it is remarkable value for money.

Now if only they would do a 107 GTi, it might just push Skoda to do a GT version of the Citigo

The 107.. Noisy little bugger!

Almost have to wear earplugs, specially when pulling off.

The Citigo is much more refined. Makes me smile every time it gets a heavy right foot.

It's been said before, but it really does sound like a baby Porsche :)

Oh we'll, each to their own and you're not alone.

I couldn't prise my mum out of her 106 with a crowbar. She loves it. :(

You're not missing much owned a 206 and 2 saxos all of them riddled with reliability issues. But they are good fun to drive.

My mate also has the same issue with Skoda. Despite my best efforts I cannot change his view on them. Even though I'm on my 4th Skoda and most of the family have changed to the marque.

I never get the thing with Skoda jokes. Does anyone really hold Jasper Carrot in such high esteem?
