I bought a space saver spare wheel for the citigo yesterday. I got home and tried it on the rear and found the bolts did not line up correctly. Has anyone else tried a polo space saver on their car? I was told all early polo 4 stud wheels where 100x4 pcd which is the same as the citigo so im stumped.

Mystery solved swapped for another 4 stud polo wheel and works a treat

I'm kicking myself over this as we traded in a beaten up old Polo for the Citigo. I'm convinced it wasn't going to get sold on.  I only thought to my self that I should have got the spare out of it after I got home. Oh well, you live and learn. :'( 

Spares are worth money these days. I wonder if I can sell the gunk kit

What year polo is the wheel from

I bought a Polo space saver wheel last night (4stud off Polo 6n2 -02)

Only cost me £10 and its like new

Will try it later to see if it fits ok

Just need a jack kit now (which one would be best I wonder?)

Will report back once I've tried it

Bit of a understatement for me!,decided to wait until 1 Sept' for the 63 plate still waiting for confirmation from the dealer for a delivery date.Feel like ringing up every day to see if there is any news!.

I think in fact it came off an Ibiza gti maybe, they told me at the scrap yard it was a polo but on closer inspection I can see seat markings.

With one side of the back seat folded, it's amazing how much you can stack in a deep boot.

Anyone got any numbers I can try and relate to. I am looking for a wheel for mine and dont want to get the wrong one
