Can anyone see this project thread? :s

Yup, certainly can!

Sounds nice for a 120k+ car, with good spec!

There's a whole plethora of things, I'd guess brakes and suspension would be the next port of call, sounds like you have some bushes replaced; I'd do poly bushes and stainless brake hoses, then decide if you want uprated discs and pads or just better friction material, followed by uprated suspension.

Ahh good, thought I'd just done all that and it didn't work haha, its got 30mm koni springs on forgot to mention that pal

Tasty spec.

Got a few future modifications that I'm planning on doing:

Engine/performance:

Aliminium oil catch tank, as one that's fitted at moment is a bodge job

Now the lad said there is a pipe I may need to change to aliminium as when car is boosting high it sometlows off, which pipe is it?

Remap again of a decent mapper, should I be expecting to see over 200bhp with these mods + what ammount of torque do you guys reckon?

Paintwork:

Wing mirrors, front grill, wheels maybe spoiler is gunmetal grey

Mesh the cutout on front bumper and move number plate to side

Touch up a few stone chips

Plans sound good. I do quite like a nice red Fabia

Sound mate, can't wait to get her on the road, got to wait till 30th to insure it!

When you getting it mapped by shark?

Loads on this forum, pick one close and just read people's reviews

What bhp you reckon it will be about with current mods

Should manage 200+ easy I would have though with a good map.

Small update:

Cd player in the Fabia wasn't the best. So bought myself a double din headunit and fitted it tonight, features are awsome and it has sat nav too.

Looks a lot better imo.

Also spent the rest of the lovely weather we had, washing and polishing the car.

Products used:

Autoglym shampoo

Autoglym leather to dry

Autoglym super resin polish

Microfibre cloths

Wasn't much as you can see from list of products, was only a quick was and polish but its come up a treat.

Factory xenons! Jealous. Lovely red fabia :)

The vinyl/ paint along the bottom of the bumper looks a little odd. Needs to go to the edge of the grille to work :)

IMG-20130711-00245.jpg

Used lots of soapy water to apply and used a filler spreader to spread soap and bubbles out, left front layer on for 20 mins to dry and peeled off :)

Sorted the carbon wrap out on front bumper and re-did it all and took it right into the corners, also painted inside of bumper, the inter cooler and front slam panel gloss black.

Few shots..

Next on the to-do list for now:

- Sort some mesh out for the front bumper gloss black

- Grill, mirrors, fog light surrounds, headlights washer covers and wheels powder coated anthracite grey

- New front badge anyone know where I can buy the same as the back one to put on front

- Aluminium oil catch tank

Looks much better now the vinyl covers the full bumper. The mesh will look good too :)

Shark do really good maps.

Pastyboy on here can sort you out some badges. He's running a group buy at the moment

Where am i best of going to get it remapped, personally after insuring it and driving for the past week i think its only running about 170-175bhp, so the mods it has had done arent really gaining nothing until i get it remapped again, am i correct?

What power does someone think with abit more knowledge than me think i should be getting if i get it remapped again with the current mods?

Of course there are many companies out there but i would say Shark come highly recommended on the site.

Nice Fabia VRS - looking good

A mate of mine with very similar spec to your was getting 219 BHP from his, but he did it on the cheap from a none descript mapper so if its done by a more respectable company should expect about 230
