Good Afternoon All,

I drive a 2004 Skoda Octavia Classic 1.9tdi. Until recent times I've had no issue whatsoever but the problem is that the bootlid won't seem to open the car is unlocked via central locking or via the switch button on the centre console. I can hear the switch at the bootlid making the usual mechanism noise when I press it yet it still won't open. Is this a common problem, and is there anyway I can open the boot via the rear seats collapsing?
