Right guys. Thinking of buying the 16" 3sdm the fronts are 8j et is 25 and the rears are 9j et20 will they fit Fabia

What was the spec on the borbets? They will fit but you will need arch work to go low. Pretty sure you can get them 8.5j though or is this a used set?

The Borbet are 7.5j fronts not sure on et the backs are 9j et is 15 but with 205 45 16 tyres and catch on the back but I was thinking 3sdm with 205 40 16 tyres

Well you will have less poke on the 0.05s then at that et only 5mm but still less. If you want it to sit nice i dont think any tyre will work with out arch work unless crazy stretch and lower profiles. You could try 205/40s but you would need to go 40 profile up front aswell and i would go 195 on the 8

my rears are 8.5j with 195/40 and there fine. . Standard arches ect.

On a 9j I would go 205/40 tho.

Arch work could I get away with just having me arches rolled

Its pretty risky on the rear as there is no lip so any rolling can cause paint crack pretty easy but depends how far you want to go. If you flare it like matts you will nees it filling and new paint to make it look good.

To be fair mate my arches need painting due to the borbets catching and peeling the paint so if I can just get away with arch rolling then it would be pretty straight forward

Thats the same as me I might get them pulled abit as the paint has gone on the inner lip anyway but I need 195s first to see the difference but mine are only 8.5 but et 16

Standard are 6.5j et 35 i think. . .

8.5j et35 might rub the inner side of the arch i think. . . Might not tho. . Have to try em.
